Carmen Moy - Dental Assistant
Carmen says that the best part of her job is that it enables her to meet and help so many members of our community. She is also an avid learner and believes that finding solutions to problems makes life interesting, so she’s always willing to go the extra mile for our patients. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is eager to show people that visiting the dentist doesn’t have to be scary!
Carmen has many hobbies that she frequently bounces between. Right now, she likes to read and bake sugar-filled treats. When she isn’t doing either of those things, you’ll find her having photoshoots with her four turtles! She has also recently gotten into painting custom shoes.
Karla Perez - Dental Assistant
Karla enjoys coming into work each day because it provides her with the opportunity to help others – it’s her favorite part of her job! Before joining our team, she took a course at Novera Dental Assisting Center and earned her certificate in dental assisting. Now, she looks forward to many more years helping our patients smile.
Karla grew up with her mother and sister, and she now has a child of her own! One of her favorite things to do in her free time is trying out new restaurants with her daughter. Here’s something you might not know about her: her first language growing up was Spanish.
Nia Bowden - Front Desk
Nia’s hometown is Chicago! When it came time for her studies, she chose to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Today, she has more than a decade of experience in the dental field. When asked what she likes most about being part of our front desk team, she shared that it’s interacting with and helping our patients.
When Nia isn’t at our office, you’ll most likely find her traveling and exploring new cultures!
